The Tri-County Beekeepers Club meets monthly. May 12th will be our first in-person meeting since last year, at at 5:30 at the Orland Community Center, 21 School House Rd. From June onward we will go back to the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
Club meetings always try to be “BEE” informative & often have guest speakers. The time and place of the meetings are emailed to members as they change depending on winter meetings or summer open hives.
Membership offers the beekeeper access to local mentoring, club resources and the use of the club honey extractor with honey screens, electric decapper and the oxalic vaporizer. We promote the art of beekeeping through open hive sessions, monthly meeting with speakers, and other educational events. We meet every month (except December and in the summer for open hives).
The membership year for the club is October 1 – September 30. Annual club dues are $10.00 per person/couple. All are welcome, whether you’re a a new beekeeper or want to learn more about becoming a beekeeper. Please see our membership page.
